Loose Canon?
A Canon is an assistant to a Bishop. This Loose Canon is a Canon turned loose to do what he knows how to do to form persons for ministry, discern the right fit between clergy and congregations and to assist in the growth (discipleship as well as numeric growth) of the Diocese.
This web journal will be updated once or twice a week by the Rev. Canon Frank Logue, Canon to the Ordinary of the Episcopal Diocese of Georgia. In this case, "Ordinary" refers to the Bishop, and title means I am his assistant or, the bishop's deputy.
